Our client is a leading manufacturer of balustrade and associated products with over 30 years’ experience in the industry servicing commercial, residential and retail markets throughout Western Australia. Our client is proudly Western Australian owned and centrally located in Bayswater.
Our client is seeking a full time Site Surveyor is responsible for all matters relating to the preparation of production and installation based requirements, for balustrading or associated balustrading products.
CANDIDATES MUST:
- Have an eye for detail.
- Be able to accurately measure and produce drawings for production.
- Understand building plans.
- Hold a current WA driver’s Licence and own transport.
- Hold a White Card.
POSITION SPECIFICS
- Attend sites as required to accurately measure, and take drawings of areas that require the installation of any balustrading products.
- Check and confirm all site details including style, colour, location and site address prior to processing job sheet details through to production.
- Responsible for providing sufficient accurate information and measurements to allow the timely fabrication of all required products prior to the commencement of installation activities
- Liaise with the Production Manager on an ongoing daily basis to ensure a consistent flow of information.
- To assist in creating working documents for the fabrication of various styles of balustrading in the computer.
- Keep accurate filing systems and records of previous and current jobs to ensure quick cross-referencing of information as required.
- Responsible for contract review of all jobs prior to issue to production.
- Any other duties as directed.
SAFETY / TRAINING
- Ensure that safe working practices and company safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Attend required training that is provided to assist with your position and responsibilities.
- Ensure that all required protective equipment is worn as designated in each work area.
